“This is less of a submission and more of a question: I’ve been a comic book fan my entire life but I’ve stayed mostly with independent/Vertigo/Image/Wildstorm stuff. I’ve been getting into Green Lantern lately and especially enjoyed Flash’s role in “Blackest Night”. Any place you’d recommend I start if I want to start getting into The Flash? Specific TPB’s, if possible. THAAAAAAAAAANKS” - (via wrenslastlaugh) I guess I should probably add on the ask feature? Anyway, sorry for getting to this kinda question kinda late. But, for me, that’s a tough question! Speaking mainly on what would be a good starter comic and not exactly just a favorite of mine, I’d have to suggest reading The Flash: The Return of Barry Allen. Since he’s the current Flash and all. Aside from that, you should definitely check out The Flash Vol. 2: Rogues to get in with the villains of the Flash world. It’s also done by Geoff Johns, who of course, created Blackest Night - so you might appreciate that. Now, I’d like for the FYFlash followers and whomever else to get in on this question too! What, in your opinion, would be a good starter Flash comic?
